HEY BALTIMORE!

We are thrilled to announce the fifth season of the Puppet Slamwich at
Black Cherry Puppet Theater! Mark your calendars for our first show of the season on November 15th, featuring some Baltimore Puppet All-Stars and a batch of performers new to our stage!

The night features 'The Stag', a scene from Jakov Lind's story 'Soul of Wood,' produced and directed by Jeanine Padgett and Jim Sheehan, workshopped and puppeteered by Anna Fitzgerald, Jen Liu, and Michael Lamason. This piece was a recipient of a Henson Seed Grant (2013). Chris Owen presents his avant-garde cranky performance of Charles Bukowski's poems via live painting on a moving scroll.  Aminah Shourbaji premiers a surrealist puppet show featuring giant cardboard pop-ups, New York City's Team Lopez infuses the show with some puppet improv, Slam-Fan Extraordinaire Chris Puls debuts his first show "One of our Submarines", and Puppet Master Anna Fitzgerald performs "The Most Beautiful Tree!" PLUS radical brass and foot-stomping beats by Baltimore's Barrage Band Orchestra!

TWO SHOWS@ 7pm & 9:30! ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Thanks Puppet Slam Network for your continued support of the Baltimore Puppet Slam community!
