Donna Oblongata (Philly), traveling almighties Sugar & Spice,
and the musical foot stomping and radical brass of
the Barrage Band Orchestra!

CALLING ALL PUPPETEERS!
Chicago's Puppet Slam - Nasty, Brutish, and Short - seeks experimental puppet theater for our March 28 cabaret. Artists from all disciplines are encouraged to apply with short-form puppet and object based theater for adult audiences. This is a platform for taking risks and exploring new ideas and possibilities. The cabaret seeks to encourage new and experimental work and foster artistic exchange between puppet artists of different generations and mediums.
Deadline for submissions is March 7, 2016. Early submissions are encouraged!

-Please send 3 images of your piece (or past work, if you don't have current images) to: nbspuppetcabaret@gmail.com.
-Performances longer than 8 minutes will not be considered. Please time it.
-You must be able to set up and strike the show within a few minutes.
-Each piece will have 20 minutes to tech the afternoon of the show.
Artists will receive a cut of the door and digital photos of their performance. Early submissions are encouraged! This event is funded in part by IBEX Puppetry and the Puppet Slam Network . It is produced with the generous support of Links Hall.
